Here are the Troop updates May that came out of the PLC this week. I encourage all to follow the troop website (www.troop222bsa.org) on a regular basis, as I will be posting these updates to the announcements section.

Saturday, May 02 is an Order of the Arrow Spring Fix-It Day at Camp OhDaKoTa. I encourage all OA members to consider participating, from 8am to 4pm.

o Several different activities are planned to prepare for the May campout.

- Thursday, May 14 is the 2016 Camp Fair for the SPL, ASPL, and three Patrol Leaders.

o I need RSVPS from each who plan to attend. I can provide transportation in most cases.

o Spaghetti dinner will be provided for those attending.

o At this time nine different Boy Scout camps will be present to present their program plans for 2016 summer camp, in an effort to help us decide where to attend in 2016.

- Friday to Sunday, May 15 to 17, is “The Scouting Dead” zombie camporee at Camp OhDaKoTa.

o The fee for this event is $25.

o This is a jam-packed weekend of patrol-level activities, so we need as many participants as possible.

o The PLC has set the departure time from the church as 5:30pm. Several Scouts have baseball games Friday night, so a later departure time for that group is being considered as well.

o Return time to the church is planned as 11:00 Sunday.
